Description: 3 - 6 Months Interim AssignmentThe Procurement Consultant will work closely with the Finance Director to define, develop and implement the procurement function.  Principal accountabilities: Lead the workstream that has been established to review the current procurement function working with external advisors  · Document existing processes and procedures· Define new process and procedures supporting practice in procurement· Implement changes in line with recommendations  Manage the existing procurement function, which currently supports the business with multiple suppliers for goods and services, identifying areas for procurement savings through supplier consolidation and competitive procurement processes. SkillsThe successful candidate will be highly organised, literate and numerate and possess strong inter personal skills to influence externally and internally when representing the team. The individual will ideally have commercial negotiating experience with the ability to successfully close deals. The position requires someone who is a self starter and requires little supervision or motivation to meet challenging targets and deadlines.
