Description: Advertising Sales Manager needed for Media CompanyOur client is growing publishing media company in the City looking to rapidly expand their business over the next 3 years.They specialise in publications that focus on financial investments and insurance.This would be an excellent opportunity for any individual to join a professional and enthusiastic working environment.The role of Advertising Sales Manager will include the following duties:·To exceed personal sales targets on publicationsand associated products.·To ensure team and product targets are hit and/or exceeded.·Ensure teams are fully staffed, trained, motivated, disciplined, and led to achieve the business objectives·To establish and encourage a culture of cooperation across the division, especially with editorial, accounts, the business development teams, marketing and the other business units.·To establish competence across the team with regard to core publishing disciplines including yield, series sales, online sales, packaged deals, etc.·To establish a culture in the team of career development and portfolio sales.·To develop a team of line managers you can rely on to support you.·To put systems in place to ensure the teams are working towards the common objective.·To use forward planning and team development to ensure revenue streams are robust and growing.·To develop new and existing staff.·To act as the link between senior management and the sales teams and to advise on both positive and negative issues on the medium term horizon.·To take a key part in the strategic development of the portfolio at budget and planning stage and lead the delivery of these budgets.In return our client will provide a competitive salary, the opportunity for global travel and excellent benefits.Apply today for this terrific opportunity!!!Salary: £35,000OTE: £55,000 although uncappedLocation: CityJennifer OgierAsr-london@adecco.co.uk0207 845 5600
