Description: HGV Technician - Wednesbury, Birmingham To be successful in this role you will need to be/have: -Preferably City & Guilds or equivalent in HGV Motor Vehicle Maintenance - Class One HGV License - The ability to work as part of a team or own your own - The ability to learn & adapt to working on specialist double deck trailers - The ability to communicate effectively with customers at breakdowns - Knowledge of all H S & E regulations. A vacancy has arisen for a skilled HGV technician based in Wednesbury. The role will be working to maintain a large vehicle fleet contracts vehicles. We are looking for a competent and adaptable individual with the ability to work on their own or as part of a team. Key Accountabilities: - Carry out service’s, inspection’s and MOT’s to company / customer vehicles to VOSA standards. - Carry out maintenance work on Tractor units and Double deck trailers - Attend breakdowns at the “Hub” or Roadside - Identify and advise the foreman of any additional work required. - Ensure the work undertaken is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with instructions.
