Description: Communications CoordinatorUp to 27K + benefitsCoventryThe companyLloydspharmacy is seeking an experienced Internal Communication Coordinator to support our Central Operations team in our head office function in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional communications coordinator to join the UK’s largest community pharmacy chain.Our estate has in excess of 1,700 pharmacies across the UK, based predominantly in community and health centre locations. To give you some idea of the size, we employ over 16,000 staff and dispense over 100 million prescription items annually. Ultimately we aim to be acknowledged by our customers, employees, suppliers and the NHS as the UK’s leading pharmacy multiple in the provision of healthcare – and related products and services – to the community.The roleIn order to achieve our vision we need to ensure that we provide accurate and clear information to our pharmacy network.You will support the development of our communications office and make decisions regarding the content of information we provide to our Pharmacy Network. You will be responsible for ensuring the internal communications are effectively cascaded using a variety of media including email, intranet, large scale mail shots, weekly internal bulletin, Lloydspharmacy internal Radio Station and, moving forward the use of video communication. You will also coordinate large scale communication conferences across the UK. The successful communications coordinator will have the creative flair to maximise engagement in any non-verbal material. You will support the development of new approaches to internal communications and become an integral part of our operations team.
