Initially this is a One Year Fixed Term contract , however may be future opportunities for longer term employment after 12 months. Salary of circa £30k DOE.Job Title:Software Business Analyst / ProgrammerPackage:Circa £30k, dependent on experience , Area / location:Based close to East MidlandsProduct:Corporate Library systems and Information Management Solutions.Brief job description: Our Client is seeking an experienced software Business Analyst / Programmer who will specialise in delivering Information Management systems to corporate organisations both in the UK and globally. Responsibilities;Analysing the business needs of clients by working closely with them and Companies Business Manager and other members of the Team and converting this into a detailed programming specification. The specification will be sent to companies outsourced development team to create the applications using .NET and SQL Server 2005.You will therefore be required to liaise with them to ensure quality code is delivered.You will have previous experience in business analysis and programming using Microsoft development tools. Must be very experienced in using SQL Server 2005 and able to develop data models that can be sent with the specifications to the development team.Ideally the successful candidate will be a Microsoft Certified Professional.It may be a possibility that the position requires travel overseas as well as in the UK.Also must have excellent organisational and customer facing skills.
