This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Reed Travel Exhibition’s highly successful luxury travel team. Based in Richmond, the Event Co-ordinator will deliver first class sales and administrative support to the sales managers and fulfil several support functions to the wider ALTM team. The candidate needs to be articulate, efficient, enthusiastic and hard working in order to deliver high levels of internal and external customer service. Some overseas travel may also be required.The Job:This position will involve the following main responsibilities:Sales Team Support: ·Handling frontline enquiries and information requests by email and telephone.·Chasing application forms, stand proposal confirmations and contract return. ·Exhibitor and prospect database management using SID and Events databases.·Exhibitor contracting and invoicing using Prism.·Manage floor plan amendment process and undertake regular floor plan audits.·Implement exhibitor mailings and regular e-comms using Exact Target suite.·Managing ad-hoc sales and research projects.Wider ILTM Team Support: ·General support to the marketing team. ·Booking and managing team travel.·Scheduling team meetings, circulating reports and taking minutes.·Payment of invoices and raising purchase orders using AS400 system. ·Other miscellaneous support tasks as required. The CandidateThis candidate should meet the following skills:·Strong written and verbal communication skills·Highly customer focused·High level of computer literacy (SID, PRISM, EVENTS, AS400 training provided)·Excellent telephone manner·Good accuracy and attention to detail·Good multi-tasking skills·Flexible approach and a strong team player·Strong time management skills·Ability to work under pressure·Ability to work under own initiative·Ability to provide solutions to opportunities within the department·Good project management skills
