This role is primarily sales oriented but also requires a good working knowledge of products. Distribution partners need to be followed up on a daily basis and encouraged to prospect and generate sales. A list of activities is detailed in the section below:Responsibilities:The main focus will be to ensure that sales targets are achieved on a timely basis i.e. Monthly & Quarterly and Year to Date.Ensure best practices and/or company procedures are respected in areas such as; ongoing reporting, forecasting, qualifications of prospects, lead generation, sales announcements, and debt collection, pricing, discounting policy, licensing and contract negotiations. Create and implement as best as possible the business plan, based on he quarterly PDP (Personal Development Plan).Actively cold-call, qualify and recruit new distributors as per criteria defined by managementEnsure a close contact with distributors and resellers are maintained so that you can report on a weekly basis the strength of the forward sales pipeline, to include a detailed rolling 90 day named prospect forecast and 90-180 day funnel detailing major prospects orders. Each distributor should perform at least 8 new demos a month.Distribution & Resellers Account Executives are expected to actively undertake and organise sales/marketing initiatives to ensure the highest possible competency and product knowledge of distributors.Actively increase market awareness of products and company image via specialised press, market analysts, and universities in the territory. This includes publication of articles, organisation of interviews with the press and signing of agreements with educational establishments together with the local distributor.Provide feedback about market trends and customer feedback on products, project needs and general trends in the assigned territory.Accurately maintain customer account records in database (or similar CRM system in place) on a regular basis. Provide visit reports, expense claims, account plans and sales announcements on a regular basis (expense claims to be made within 30 days).Requirements:·Basic sales / telesales experience – 1 year or more·Excellent communication skills·Good working knowledge of MS Office ·Target driven and results focused·Self-motivated candidate with ability to self-organise·Must live within 30 minutes from Watford Junction·Foreign languages essential; Spanish preferably mother tongue·Basic salary package £20K – £22.5K depending on experience OTE ~ £30K
