They are also a fantastic base for outdoor events and pursuits such as water sports, biking, or fell walking. They have grown year on year and from this is booked to have a full refurbishment in November which, when completed, will boast a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen and restaurant area, all the new mod-cons and comfort for guests and staff . The role of Chef de Partie will require you to work closely alongside the Head Chef in menu planning, food prep and cooking, ordering stock and liaising with staff to ensure an efficient operation is offered to guests. You can expect to work with number up to ± 200 in the summer months offering a range of dishes from light snack to full meals. You will also be required to adhere to all current legislation and ensure standards are maintained. You will work a maximum of 42.5 hours per week, 5 days out 7 on a rota basis in a mixture of straight and split shifts. Live-in accommodation can be provided on a short term basis only. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large numbers and be a good team player. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef to take the next step.
