Description: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - BAHRAIN - PROJECT MANAGER - MAPMConstruction Consultancy - Bahrain Based - Project Manager MAPMOverall Purpose of the post for project manager: To undertake a senior project management role on major projects, manage an internal team of project managers and act as the key client contact for a limited range of clients. YOU MUST have construction consultancy experience in managing major projects in the UAE or GCC. Summary of duties for Senior Project Manager in Bahrain:1.Reporting to the relevant Project Partner or Associate Director, the successful candidate will manage a team of project managers and cost managers. 2.Undertake the leading role delivering all aspects of the project management service within the pre contract and post contract stages of construction projects, from inception to completion. Projects will range from BD 1m to BD 40m. 3.Provide sector specific risk, value and procurement advice to clients. 4.Maintain excellent relationships with clients, and take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry. Ideal experience for project manager - Senior Project Manager:1.Evidence of working within different sectors is essential with a minimum of at least 10 years post qualification experience (we will look at candidates with less experience provided this experience to date is sufficiently relevant). 2.Opportunity will entail project management duties within the infrastructure, commercial, retail, mixed use, and leisure sectors. 3.Experience of working with either Middle East clients or on Middle East projects is preferable but not essential. 4.A working knowledge of FIDIC contracts is required. 5.Proven track record of collaborating with leading consultants resulting in successful project delivery.
