My client is currently searching for a Avionics Design Engineer, Cabin and IFEProfile:EducationHigher technical college for engineering degree in Aviation or telecommunicationsTraining* Fundamental Avionics course* System Safety Assessment for Aircraft Systems* System Lightning Protection* Vendor or Equipment Manufacturer Training for affected System (Matsushita,Panasonic, Rockwell-Collins)ExperienceAt least 6 month of company experience.In addition to the above, the Design Engineer shall have collected experience during practicalapplication as Trainee in the following topics:* Design of a Cabin Refurbishment (electronic portion) of at least one TransportCategory Aircraft, which was commercially operated for the purpose oftransporting people (including in-seat devices, such as but not limited to SeatElectronic Boxes, Video screens (LCD), Passenger Control unit interconnection,interconnection of the system components, and possible reprogramming ofcommanding modules, masters)* Design of the integration and/or upgrade of an Airshow® or equivalent productinto any type of aircraft, Transport Category preferred* Design of the integration of a SATCOM system into a Transport Category Aircraft(Alternatively: installation of any system in a similar frequency band, such asRadio Altimeters, ACAS II (TCASII) or equivalent)Software skillsThe Design Engineer shall have been trained on the following software applications and shallhave sufficient knowledge to independently use these tools based on the specifications issued byAMES CVE:* IGE+XAO, See electrical Harness; Modules: Schematics, Harness Design* CIM-Team, E3; Modules: Schematics, Harness Design, Bridge* Uni-graphic (UG), I-DEAS, Module: Harness Design
