Description: Biffa is a leading integrated waste management business in the UK, providing collection, treatment and recycling and disposal services to around 80,000 commercial customers and over one million households through its local authority contracts.Our Aberdeen Depot, based in East Tullos, services industrial and commercial contracts in the area and employs around a dozen waste vehicle Driver/Operators, along with a small traffic and administration team. A capable, committed and enthusiastic person is sought to manage and develop the Depot.You will have waste, transport, logistics or other similar experience, where responsibilities have included providing exceptional customer service and managing health & safety, profit & loss and people. With good numeracy and literacy skills, you will be comfortable with IT at user-level. Preference would be given to those candidates who also had qualifications in health & safety (such as IOSH or similar) and road transport management (such as CPC).
