They are now looking to recruit an IT Technical Support Engineer / IT Systems Engineer to join their team.In this role you will be responsible for providing installation and support to customers for the entire range of our client's solution portfolio that includes printing solutions and document management systems, whilst ensuring you provide a first class customer service at all times. Your role will involve providing both field and office support, which will involve some travel to customer sites, covering Portsmouth to Bracknell, with most customers based in Bournemouth and Poole. As an IT Technical Support Engineer / IT Systems Engineer your key responsibilities will include:- assuming responsibility for the entire IT aspect of any project/contract from pre-sales, to post implementation support- receiving, logging, prioritising and resolving IT related requests from customers- investigating and progressing faults to completion- ensuring you provide progress reports to customers, keeping them informed at all stagesYour role will also involve developing working relationships with external Service Provider companies, and liaising with software and hardware vendors, partners and third party companies to resolve technical issues.To succeed as the IT Technical Support Engineer / IT Systems Engineer you must have experience in a similar role, and you must be at least MCP qualified (or equivalent). The ideal candidate will also be part or fully MCSE qualified.
