Description: In this role you will liaise with the Project Managers to schedule your work effectively and meet client requests. Your position will also consist in playing a role in the mentoring of junior translators and you will get involved in consulting with Operations and Technology in the roll-out of new initiatives. This role is based in Leeds and will involve working within an In-house team currently covering the major Western European languages. Requirements: A graduate degree in translating or a similar qualification is necessary A strong experience in the translation industry is requiredMentoring skillsAdvanced skills in translation memory toolsAble to translate at least 2000 words per day.References of two work translations from familiar refereesEnglish mother tongueWe will consider a specialist within these skills, we would favour a candidate with Financial-, Technical- or Software-related specialisms.
