Assistant BuyerThis is a great opportunity to join an established forward thinking company based in York!!Purchasing Support’s main responsibility is to ensure that all administrative and Country support functions are performed accurately and within the agreed timescales.A focused approach to customer care is expected at all times, to ensure service level expectations from the Countries are achieved.- Customer Service – Support to the Countries and Buyers through resolution of specific queries received through the centralised email address in line with agreed service levels- Placing purchase orders – all Back to back and 3rd party orders to be raised within the agreed SLA- Resolution of goods-in queries (liaison with Goods-in and Transport Desk)- SAP update (order acknowledgements, overdue order dates, shipping notifications). Ensure Eta’s are updated on a daily basis and that information communicated to the countries is as accurate as possible at all times.- Sales order Support – back to back and configured stock re-order, backorder problems.- Efficient expediting of delivery where requested and the maintenance of accurate lead-time information.- Collation of information and documentation The ideal candidate would have good customer service and administration expereince.Salary £15,000 + £1,500 bonus
