Description: Semiconductor world leader urgently seeks a CAD Support Engineer. Cadence IC Design tools, Microsoft Office tools , IC Design process, Physical verification techniques (DRC, LVS), UNIX/Linux operating system, programming languages would advantage (Cadence Skill, Verilog/VerilogA, AHDL, C, PHP), troubleshooting EDA/CAD ( e.g. tool usage problems)Semiconductor world leader urgently seeks a CAD Support Engineer for their site in Scotland.In this role you will be responsible for providing EDA/CAD Design Tool and Design Kit support to engineering teams (largely Cadence based including Synopsys). You will be working independently with other CAD support team members and with corporate R&D to address customer issues and bugs. Industry degree qualified or similar you will have experience in all or some of the following:-Cadence IC Design tools -Microsoft Office tools -IC Design process -Physical verification techniques (DRC, LVS)-UNIX/Linux operating system -Programming languages (Cadence Skill, Verilog/VerilogA, AHDL, C, PHP) -Troubleshooting EDA/CAD ( e.g. tool usage problems)Appreciation of semiconductor design and IC fabrication/processing an advantage.Some travel to European sites and US may be required.Contact IC Resources to apply'IC Resources - your first contact for Analog / RF IC positions throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
