Description: This reputable Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company requires a Technical Assistant to provide technical assistance to the Subsurface Team working on UK producing fields, near field exploration and development opportunities. This is a key role in the generation and implementation of ideas to find and develop reserves.The scope of the work primarily encompasses management and provision of geological and seismic data for geoscientists, management of production and other engineering data. The ability to work closely with geoscientists and engineers is critical as is the ability to manage ones time.Responsibilities include: -*Maintenance of production databases including OFM*Production loss monitoring and lost time analysis, generation of reports and plots*Collate historical and newly acquired data (RFT, PLT?)*Build and maintain log and seismic databases*QC log data*Provide technical support to geoscience staff*Support data management of production and geoscience data*Creation and update of procedures for data management, well allocation and data distributionIdeally you will have a Degree in a Geoscience discipline with experience of production reporting systems and databases, preferably within an operator and have a good knowledge of geoscience software and database systemsCall today to arrange an immediate interview for this Technical Assistant roleFor further vacancies or information on Burns Carlton Plc please visit our newly launched sector specific website at www.burnscarlton.com.
