Description: We are currently working with a Leading Insurance organisation who are based in East Croydon and due to major expansion are looking for Household Claims Consultants to join their growing department.The JobTo settle Home claims so that the requirements of the customer, claims policy and Group strategy are met.The skillsTo investigate claim value and negotiate settlement at the appropriate amount, maintaining average claim costs within targeted levels.To settle claims through the proactive management of all parties, providing earliest resolution of claims, and maintaining the average life of claims within targeted levels. To investigate potential recovery opportunities. To identify any invalid claims and to deal with in an appropriate mannerTo identify suspect fraud cases and ensure that they are then referred to the appropriate department to deal. To be responsible for resolving customer complaints in a timely and effective manner, controlling associated costs and adhering to regulatory requirements. To manage own caseload in timely manner and in accordance with company quality standardsTo be responsible for complying with all internal, regulatory and statutory standards and controls, so that the requirements of the Group and regulatory bodies are met.In return this position is looking to pay a salary in the region of £24,000 with an excellent benefits package
