Description: The Company Our client is a rapidly expanding Managed Services Company providing a range of Building Services Maintenance Solutions and M&E services, they have a number of prestigious contracts across the UK within their Multi-site Maintenance division. Due to expansion our client is looking to recruit a Business Unit Director to be based in their Milton Keynes office.The RoleOur client is recruiting for a Business Unit Director to manage a portfolio of multi-site contracts. * The purpose of the job is to provide leadership and management to a team including an Area Manager with a group of Contract Managers, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded, and that additional business is developed within the Contracts Base. * Ensure that opportunities are identified by the Contract Managers for the strategic development of the contracts in order to deliver increased turnover and profitability, add additional services and projects and ensure that contracts are re-won on re-tender.* Ensure that Contract Managers are meeting their KPI's across the contracts e.g. ensuring optimum staffing structure operates across the business to service the contracts, reduction of WIP, debt, and costs, while ensuring contract growth.The CandidateThe Business Unit Director skills and experience required for this role:- * Experience managing a team of Area/Contract Managers who have responsibility for managing maintenance contracts ideally in a Multi-site mobile engineering environment. * Relevant industry experience in the M&E and Hard services arena.* Ambitious, confident and able to demonstrate a career with continuous personal development* Must be analytical, have vision, be innovative and constantly looking for ways to improve the business, while being an excellent motivator of staff, and a team player.* Excellent communication and presentation skills, who is committed to customer service, accessible to customers, and has a high level of personal integrity.* Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure business critical environments.* Capable of developing strategies to win against the competition, as well as identifying and delivering added value services, they must be flexible, able to articulate the "Value Proposition? of our client's service to prospects and customers at Board Level, and take ownership of the business they will be running. The RewardIn return, the Business Unit Director will receive an excellent remuneration package including £70k - £75k salary and 20% bonus and car allowance and 25 days holiday.
