Description: Head of Sales - MOD - IT Sector £50-60k + OTE + Car + Bens My client has been established for more than 25 years, and is a market leader in the IT sector in the UK. They are one of the leading providers of IT & technology to the Public sector, and due to recent tender wins they are looking to recruit a Head of Sales for the MOD sector. You will have an in depth knowledge of the Defence and Central Government market places, with a proven track record of sales in the IT sector, with experience of managing a sales team, and have a good understanding of selling complex solutions. It is expected that you will be in a similar role currently, possibly as an Account Director at a large system integrator or MOD / Central Government outsourcer. You must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of, and track record in working within the boundaries of large framework agreements between £500k-£10m. The role will see you heading up a team of internal and external sales people, supporting the existing customer base as well as exploiting new opportunities within the MOD / Central Government space. You will be responsible for assembling annual budgets, and managing monthly/quarterly/annual performance and the associated reporting requirements to Board level. The package is negotiable depending on experience, but a basic salary of up to around the £60k mark, along with an OTE in excess of £120k, a company car, and all associated benefits will be available to the right candidate.
