Description: Development Engineer(Graphics) We have a vacancy within an international leader in the creation and licensing of semiconductor System-on-Chip Intellectual Property (SoC IP) and in the development and manufacture of DAB digital radios. The Technology Division’s Business Development group is looking for an enthusiastic team member to help showcase the impressive capabilities of the market-leading POWERVR MBX and SGX families of mobile graphics IP cores and other technologies. This role focuses initially on the creation of impressive 3D graphics demonstrations which will be experienced by a large audience including semiconductor vendors, OEMs, game publishers / developers and millions of mobile device users.Objectives agreed on an annual basis shall form an integral part of this Job Description. Objectives will normally be assigned within three months of joining.Skills - Commercial software development experience with a background in computer graphics, or a graduate with relevant experience through various graphics related projects 3D demo development or 3D game engine development experience Excellent C programming skills Familiarity with digital content creation tools (3DSMax, Photoshop, etc.) Good maths, logical approach and problem solving abilities Development and debug experience on embedded platforms – experience in at least one of WinCE, Symbian or Linux preferred DirectX, OpenGL or OpenGL ES experience DX9 Shader Model 3.0 or OpenGL 2.0 GLSL Shader experience Passionate about computer graphics and/or multimedia applications Qualifications BEng, BSc or similar degree or equivalent industrial experience
