Description: Quality & Supplier Development Manager - Main responsibilities for this role will be: Manage and co-ordinate all ISO9002 requirements via QMS Development, documentation and training of the QMS to all staff Conducting internal audits and ensuring closed loop corrective & preventative actions implemented.Development of product quality plans associated with diplexer and module production as well as critical materials & assembly.Development and automation of data via QUADS/Syteline version 7. Co-ordinate and develop the QMS system and standard operating procedures, process control and product yield improvement plans. Development and management of incoming materials inspection for critical materials and real time data collection and feedback to suppliers. Management of process and system audits at suppliers and risk assessment with improvement action plans & verification plans. Benchmarking suppliers and overall business capability.Alternative supplier source for materials and qualification plans for new suppliers. Investigation alternative processes and suppliers. Assist with qualification of out-sourcing diplexer assembly project Management of the materials returns process and corrective actions. Manage new product introduction into production and deliverables associated with T5/6/7 stages of the NPI system Initiating strategic plans and targets to increase efficiency of operations and materials cost and product/process yield within FBL and supply chain and benchmark against continuous improvement plans. Conducting product audits and detailed inspection regime. Documentation of inspection of criteria’s. Responsible for review/reporting and developing of the key performance measure within quality function and service levels with suppliers. Team-working with Purchasing department to ensure that business reviews ate held with critical suppliers and KPI’s reviewed and the necessary improvement actions taken. Responsible for ensuring productivity product quality of materials against specifications.Responsible for definitions of specification for critical materials. Responsible for ensuring compliance against the product quality plans.Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety & Environmental standards. Responsible to management of customer returns process and analysis and providing diagnostics and root cause analysis.Responsible for the management and development of customer interface and systems as required Responsible for providing data & reports as required by customers throughput NPI & volume production phase. Promote quality & lean manufacturing awareness and develop improvement plans. Assist production management with the implementation of 5S & Kaisen system.Liaise with other departments regarding materials, process design and customer returns.The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in a scientific subject eg Physics Engineering, Maths or Manufacturing Engineering level and will be able to satisfy the following requirements: Experience with quality and manufacturing management in a technical and high volume manufacturing environment.Experience in the electronics, microelectronics or telecommunications industry working with ISO9001. Organised and able to use standard project management techniques such as FMEA, MS Project, Risk Analysis. Must have formal QMS and Lead Auditor training and management capability. Strong Data Analysis/SPC skills along with Excel, ERP/PDM. MILL/IPC and problem solving capability. Good interpersonal skills as will be required to negotiate and influence. Must be strong team player and able to apply the above techniques in a group environment . Must be natural completer finisher with the ability to self manage in a dynamic environment
