Description: A PHP Developer / Back-end developer is required by Pixel Scene, a leading creative integrated digital communications agency located in Hook, Hampshire. Our offices are 2 mins from M3 (Jct. 5) and only a minute’s walk from the Hook mainline train station offering easy access to London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Reading and the South.You will need to have gained experience in commercial PHP / MySQL Development preferably in an agency environment developing high quality PHP 5 / MySQL applications with an Object Orientated methodology. You will need to have experience in developing cutting edge Ajax and JavaScript driven websites and be fully confident in developing from the front to back end of a development cycle with the ability to compose technical specification documentation. Ideal candidates will need to have excellent skills in:PHP 5 – Object Orientated Programming (OOP)MySQL + Administration ExperienceXHTMLCSSAjax and JavaScript (especially Prototype/Scriptaculous and/or jQuery)XMLExcellent academics i.e. a degree in Computer Science or Internet Engineering.It would be great if you also had knowledge of: Actionscript 3; ASP; ASP.NET; but it is not essential.The role - PHP DeveloperYou will join a friendly team of expert developers, designers and project managers.
