Work involves 3 months abroad, followed by 3 weeks holiday in the UK - rotating.The CompanyMy client is a leading supplier of heavy plant and power generation equipment which is used in construction, mining and industrial applications throughout the world. This well respected organisation has been supplying this marketplace for decades, establishing and nurturing long term relationships with a customer base at the forefront of technology.The RoleFollowing expansion, they seek to recruit two customer focused and highly motivated Electrical / Mechanical Service Engineers, responsible for developing customer relationships and servicing high value capital equipment. This is a permanent worldwide role involving 3 months abroad, followed by three weeks at home, then 3 months abroad, 3 weeks holiday, etc. You will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and breakdown fault-finding and repair on a range of heavy plant equipment including earthmoving, mining, construction, warehouse handling, materials handling and power generation equipment.Candidate ProfileTo apply you should have either a mechanical or electrical engineering background and have experience working on heavy plant equipment or power generation systems. You may be qualified with a City & Guilds / HNC / HND in Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering. You may come from an ex-forces or REME background. You should have experience of fault-finding and repairing heavy plant equipment such as earthmoving equipment, highway trucks, bulldozers, engines, generators, mining equipment, overhead cranes, warehouse equipment, materials handling equipment, hydraulic systems, power generation or construction systems.BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values its employees and rewards innovation.
