Description: Our client is a leading manufacturer of high risk chilled products and is seeking a Technical Assistant who wishes to progress their career in a busy, pressurised environment.The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a Food Science or related degree and some training in Microbiology.You will have experience in the high risk chilled food industry and in particular with raw material specifications.You will be able to work on your own initiative, be highly articulate and a confident communicator at all levels.You will also need proficiency in MS Word, Excel with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.A valid driving licence is an advantage.You will be providing support to Food Safety and Raw Materials departments, managing raw material specifications to ensure that food safety, legality and quality are considered and be involved in auditing schedules, liaising with NPD and working to KPI’s.
