Description: Condition Monitoring Engineer (ideally MSc/BSc/HND level in an electrical/electronic engineering discipline) required in the North West area to work as part of team developing and delivering condition monitoring systems for high voltage and medium voltage switchgear and substations Your role will involve: - To work with customers to develop solutions for condition monitoring and condition assessment requirements. - To organise and assist the production delivery of condition monitoring systems including site installation and commissioning. - Supervision of assembly test and installation personnel/contractors required - Develop prototype condition monitoring and data acquisition systems - Supervise factory production and testing of condition monitoring systems - Supervise site installation and personally commission complete condition monitoring systems - Carry out site condition assessment investigations using a variety of diagnostic techniques You will ideally be someone with the following: - Experience of switchgear or working in a substation environment - Knowledge of modern computer and communication systems - IT Literacy (including MS Office, Visual Basic and C++) - PCB design skills including CAD development tools - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Previous experience of condition monitoring / data acquisition systems We are an established Engineering Employment Business and Agency with over 20 years experience, providing recruitment services to our candidates and clients.
