Description: Our client, a household name consumer brands company is seeking to appoint an experienced reward specialist on a 12 month interim contract.This role will be responsible for assisting the Head of Reward & HR Systems to help implement and deliver the newly developed Reward Strategy for the Group. Additionally the role will also be heavily involved in the implementation of the new HR and Payroll system across the organisation. The Reward & HR Systems Manager will work with the business to develop a holistic approach to its compensation and benefits structure, delivering a contemporary and competitive offering to employees which adds value to business performance. The role will provide the opportunities to get involved across the entire reward spectrum.The key purpose of the job is to:* Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of reward and benefits and ensure the development and implementation of effective market competitive policies, processes and standards in support of the business and reward strategies.* Ensure the effective delivery of benefits, pay reviews, and incentive schemes. * Ensure the production and analysis of KPI's, together with the ongoing maintenance of the HR system. * Implement the new HR and Payroll system.Key result areas:* Provide support to the Head of Reward and HR Systems in successfully delivering and implementing reward and benefit practices and principles into the business.* Work to design and implement a performance related pay structure appropriate for the business needs.* Project manage the implementation of the annual management pay review, bonus schemes and share incentive plans. Driving process improvement and consistency across the business.* Implement new programmes and initiatives and adapt existing compensation and benefits practices which are market competitive. Ensure these are communicated effectively and the HR teams and line managers are fully knowledgeable and able to implement consistently and effectively across the business (includes flexible benefits).* Co-ordinate the review and maintenance of the organisation and job evaluation hierarchy (HAY) benchmark.* Work with the Executive and Pension Fund Trustee advisors to ensure that the existing defined benefit scheme and new defined contribution scheme are managed effectively and that benefits remain competitive with market practice.* Build the competence and capability of the HR team so that they can effectively promote, communicate and implement consistently, the reward offering with line managers and employees.* Maintain an external network of reward specialists to benchmark best practise and current developments and brief senior management and HR teams where appropriate.* Help to develop and maintain the HR system and the quality of management information provided to the business.
