The development of the hall will include the construction of a large conservatory which will help deliver 135 restaurant covers. A host of period features will be retained and there will be extensive gardens. This fantastic site will be capable of hosting weddings and other events of up to 120 guests for formal meals and 200 guests in the existing function facilities.The RoleThe role of a Second Chef is varied, challenging and fun and will include: -Preparation and cooking of a range of Hydes dishes-Management of kitchen operation in Head Chef’s absence-Maintaining effective stock rotation and ordering in conjunction with Head Chef-Maintenance of kitchen hygiene standards-Effective team working-Training and development across the kitchen to develop knowledge and understanding regarding all operational aspects of the unitThe PersonHydes are seeking a passionate, driven and team focused individual to bring flair and commitment.With at least 2 years kitchen experience, preferably in a fresh food environment, you will relish the chance to develop your career.
