Description: Well respected legal practice is looking to recruit a Senior PI Fee Earner for their Newcastle upon Tyne office.As Senior Fee Earner you will handle your own caseload of motor personal injury claimant files for clients and innocent parties. You will decide on prospects of referrals reviewed from uninsured loss companies to determine if the case is worth perusal. You will be responsible for negotiating liability and quantum from initial referral to settlement and, if appropriate, obtain all evidence to ensure liability is settled in favour of the client. You will liaise and visit clients to progress ongoing claims, attend court hearings and trials, where possible attend accident scenes to produce locus report and take statements from witnesses and clients.It is essential when applying for this position you have gained substantial personal injury claims handling experience from within a legal environment and be aware of Woolf reforms. You must be confident liaising with people at all levels and dealing with day to day team functions, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be a team player.
