Our Client is one of the UK's leading outdoor advertising company's; they are seeking an Agency Account Manager (Specialist & Local Agency Sales) to cover The Meridian TV region (defined as Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire Hampshire, East and West Sussex and Kent) as part of a new National Agency Team.As Agency Account Manager you will have excellent skills in relationship development, creating appointments and building strong ties with Key Agencies involved in specialist media.You will have exceptional sales and communications skills, be tenacious and highly motivated and have plenty of drive and ambition. You could come from an Agency where you have bought or planned outdoor media for an Agency or you could be from a Media, Advertising, or Radio background.As Agency Account Manager you will be responsible for developing the number of briefs received from the Specialist Agencies and increasing the yield achieved for the area and our client.You will as Agency Account Manager have strong and proven field sales skills and an Agency or media background, preferably in outdoor media, (preferred but not essential); you will be a skilled field sales person and have experience of selling to advertising agencies or have field sales experience in an Agency environment. You will be a confident cold caller, canvasser and appointment maker, able to organise appointments and presentations and you must be a good closer, able to develop and sustain good relationships with clients.Location: Meridian TV region.
