Description: A vacancy exists within the Purchasing department for a Senior Buyer to support an existing area of the business for a multinational organisation. This is an opportunity for the right candidate looking to excel and fulfil your career potential Your immediate priorities will be to assume various direct commodity responsibilities as well as to assume the role as purchasing project leader for at least one project You will also have people management responsibilities for some members of the team You will be expected to play s key role in assisting the supply chain to attain world class levels of performance in all relevant kpi's including the identification and implementation of cost reduction activities and projects Your responsibilities will consist of: - Effective day to day responsibility for assigned commodities Acting as purchasing project leader for assigned projects Providing exceptional service levels within purchasing for all areas of the business, meeting and exceeding all customer requirements and expectations Completion of negotiation with both current and potential suppliers Detailed QAF analysis Coupled with the above attributes you must have excellent organisation, communication and IT skills and be familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Apply ASAP by sending in an up to date CV
