Description: Mobileshop.com is one of the largest independent internet retailers of mobile phones and associated products and services within the UK.DATA ANALYSTSalary – dependent on experienceReporting to the Financial Controller the role is to provide management information, for the various group companies and divisions, to a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst identifying trends and variances to budgets and daily trading.The key elements of the role are:Provide daily information to the business with regards trading performance, sales analysis and profitabilityProvide key weekly information to the management team to aid decision makingProvide key monthly data to departmental heads and assist in gathering relevant information for presentation at board levelProvide trend analysis and variance investigation Develop internal and external reporting processes and systemsProvide other ad hoc management information to the business as and when requiredTo work closely with the traffic team to maximise traffic, conversion and ultimate profitability Work within the Finance team to motivate and maximise team performance.Ensure timely and accurate production and release of management informationIdentification and presentation of developing trends and variances to budget or expectations
