Description: NOC/Network/Operations/ISP/Internet/Technical/Manager/Oldham/Manchester. My market leading client in the ISP/Internet sector is looking to recruit an experience Network Operations Team Manager for their site located to the north-east of Manchester. Reporting directly to the NOC Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the NOC Team and ensuring that the team are able to meet the day to day needs of the business taking into account current and future requirements. Coming from a background in technical operations and Datacentre services, you will understand the day to day activities and issues dealt with by your team and will be capable of providing practical guidance and technical training, where necessary, to the team to assist with their operational duties. It is essential that you come from a technical operations background, preferably with Datacentre experience. Having relevant experience within a similar role and company is highly desirable. You will need to understand the day to day activities and issues dealt with by your team and will be capable of providing practical guidance and technical training, where necessary, to the team to assist with their operational duties. You will also need to be a strong people manager where you will be able to establish and oversee training and career development plans for your team and work towards maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with customers and suppliers and other teams within the company. Please note that you must be prepared to be called on outside normal working hours in the event of an emergency.
