Description: Our client is a leading developer of software specialising in improving the efficiency and management of logistics companies throughout Europe.Our client is looking for an excellent degree qualified programmer with a minimum of one year’s relevant experience. You will be developing in VO (Visual Objects, an object-orientated language), C# and VB.Net, so proficiency in these programming languages is essential. Web design skills would also be useful. You should be able to work under pressure to tight dead-lines. You will be responsible for the development of application software to pre-written specifications using our clients’ standard libraries and programming techniques. You will be involved in the development of production of associated documentation i.e. program notes, user instructions, database definitions and system testing of product developed prior to handover. Also any other tasks associated with the running of the business e.g. reporting, data migration, testing, site visits etc and assistance in the support of MACS application software in the field.
