Description: We are looking for an Environmental Services Area Manager.To deliver a Refuse/Recycling/Street Cleansing service in accordance with the contract, ensuring that procedures are followed. 7 days a week operation. Rota: 5 days on & 2 days off and 5 days on and 3 days off.Essential Skills:To ensure effective use of resources.To work within financial constraints - key measurement is 'mini-budget'.To supervise employees and ensure their safe working practices. To ensure all employees are trained sufficiently to carry out their duties. To deliver Induction, Manual Handling, Banksman, Risk Assessment and Quality Procedure Training. To compile 'Daily Attendance' spreadsheet.To investigate client / resident complaints. To represent the Company at client / residents meetings. Advise the Contract Manager / Client as to potential service improvements. Ensure that vehicles are available for service when required. Carry out Return to Work Interviews.Maintain holiday roster in accordance with local guidelines. At all times follow safe working practices. Skills and Experience:Computer literate. Driving licence required. Relevant supervisory experience.Hardworking with a flexible approach.
