Description: Senior Transport Planning Consultant - Swindon Qualification Relevant degree - Geography, Planning or Civil Engineering related Experience 4 years minimum in Transport industry Salary £34-41K Company Independent Transport Consultancy Operating in South East Duties: - Assist Principal and managers in day to day project work - Liaise with multi disciplinary teams - Liaising with third parties and offering consulting advice - Writing and presenting reports to engineers and clients - Multi modal simulation modelling using industry standard packages - ARCADY, LINSIG etc. - Scheme design and appraisal - Design and conduct transport assessments and surveys - Economic impact assessments of new developments - Reviewing transport strategy and policy Typical Projects: - City centre regeneration and major highways operations developments. Scheme and policy design.
