A willingness and ability to learn the following skills is also essential. Existing knowledge of any of the following areas is a distinct advantage. Knowledge of Credit Card economics. Knowledge of external data sources . Understanding of standard modelling methodologies. Broader knowledge of statistics and statistical modelling techniques The role; You will part of an integral SAS team that has long been established in this market leading financial organisation. You role will consist of working with high levels of data within the credit card industry, utilising you SAS programming skills alongside the statistical background that is a key part of the position. The role; You will part of an integral SAS team that has long been established in this market leading financial organisation. You role will consist of working with high levels of data within the credit card industry, utilising you SAS programming skills alongside the statistical background that is a key part of the position. You will be building monitoring reports for marketing stage, application stage, collections and behavioural models. Along with this you will also be required to; -own implementation of account management models ensuring accurate, thorough & efficient coding. - Understand the business objective, and how it impacts the model reporting process. - Construct a suitable database for the monitoring process. - Apply the approved statistical & programming techniques to a high standard. - Alert model owners if unforeseen issues, problems or results occur at any stage. - Fully document all development work in the approved manner. - Undertake ad-hoc statistical/programming work as required. - Attend training courses and seminars as required.
