Description: Commissioning Engineer required to ensure that the products supplied by the Company are commissioned to customer satisfaction, on time and safely within budget, to quality standards and with the necessary documentation. The ideal candidate will Provide assistance to other engineers to minimise delays caused by technical problems. Commissioning electrical machines, including excitation, protection, and control systems. Planning commissioning activities to take place in a timely and consistent manner. Liaising with other vendor representatives to ensure optimum use of time and facilities. Producing reports to provide a record of the activities. Carrying out remedial work on faults. The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of HND standard or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, and have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, with operational experience of electrical machines, excitation schemes, basic mechanical and electrical fitting, analogue and digital electronics, circuit and schematic diagram interpretation, and fault finding on AVRs/PLCs/Protection Relays
