Description: Our clients are seeking to recruit a Geotechnical Technician to join their team based in Croydon for a period of 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of public and private sector clients on some key and major projects and offers the opportunity for you to broaden your experience. Day-to-day responsibilities will include but not exclusive to:·Assist colleagues on Projects and work closely with other disciplines on a range of multi-disciplinary projects. ·Responsible for the production of design solutions and drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance and refurbishment. ·Become integral to the division’s operations and contribute to the business and the team’s technical development. ·Contribute to risk assessment and specification document Candidate specification:The candidates that will be considered for these opportunities will have a relevant Engineering Degree, ideally in Geotechnical Engineering gained within the last four years.Successful Candidates are likely to have the following characteristics:·Good academic background ideally with a geotechnical engineering degree. An additional MSc will benefit any applicant. ·Strong mathematical/numerate capability ·Be innovative looking to develop their technical and management skills and the willingness to tackle any challenge ·The candidate must be capable of speaking fluent English in line with immigration legislation and have an analytical approach to problem resolution.
