Their Regeneration, Construction and Sustainability practice areas have experienced rapid growth in recent yearsIn particular there is growing demand for our expertise in Stakeholder Engagement & Community Liaison, Technical and Strategic Communication across these areas. Wecurrently have a small but highly experienced team, with substantial global experience in these areas. The ongoing growth of these core business areas is allowing us to expand this team, and will enable new employees to benefit from the diverse and leading edgeexpertise present within the company.We are looking for someone with natural communication skills - a good listener, and someone who is able to explain complicated issues to a lay audience.Sympathy and empathy are natural qualities that would work well in this role.Key skills we are looking for: - Graduate or Masters in Regeneration, Planning, Construction, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Communications or similar - Skilled communicator - you must be comfortable talking to a wide range of stakeholders, from community groups to politicians, from individual briefings togroup presentations. - Strong organisational skills - it is essential that all stakeholder engagement activity is thoroughly recorded and acted upon, and strong organisational skills areimportant to ensure that nothing is overlooked - Attention to detail - it is vital that all details of your stakeholder engagementactivity are carefully planned and executed, in order to build trust and credibilityamong stakeholders - Flexibility - ability to prioritise a workload that must accommodate short noticedemands and sudden deadlines, as the work often involves accommodatingunexpected incidents within a construction/regeneration programme - Forward Thinking & Self Starter - the ability to work independently to a deadlineis critical for these roles, as is the ability to think more than one step ahead and seethe bigger pictureIf you are interested in this excellent opportunity, please contact Brett Hemingway or Alex Whisker on 0113 388 4200 to email your CV, or apply on-line in the strictest of confidenceFor more opportunities, please visit www.synergygroup.co.uk
