Which is exactly what you’ll do. You’ll focus on helping start-ups, whether they’re sole traders or partnerships, limited companies or charities. And because you’ll spend plenty of time with your customers, you’ll get to know what makes them tick. So you’ll be able to get them off the ground, guide them through the ins and outs of running a successful business, help them plan for the future and expand; whether they’re a new estate agent looking to get on the ladder, or an established accountants looking to add value. At the same time, you’ll be able to use those close business relationships to generate referrals to grow your portfolio.About youPrevious financial service or retail banking experience isn’t essential, but a drive to meet sales and service targets is. You’ll also need a strong academic background (A Levels or degree or equivalent), an ability to grasp complex financial information and a natural flair for networking, negotiating and presenting.
