Description: Commercial Manager Salary: £45,000 + Upto 100% bonus +Car + BUPA + Pension Location: UK + East Midlands The Background: One of the leaders in temperature-controlled logistics services. The Role: You will be responsible for selling the range of chilled distribution services to food manufacturers, growers and producers. You will be judged in terms of success by improving the efficiency of each truck which is already travelling on the pre-booked 'bus routes'. In order to achieve this you will be aiming to approach the maximum pallet per load through selling to independent food manufacturers that need their product reaching the retail distribution point to ensure the optimum efficiency of each truck that leaves the depot. professional approach. The Individual: Graduate calibre or equivalent, a relevant professional qualification an advantage. Commercially adept in managing and exceeding ambitious targets and be capable of negotiating complex price agreements yourself whilst maintaining profit margins. An ability to demonstrate delivering new business whilst maintaining existing accounts. Ability to communicate (both oral and written) at all levels of the organisation. Able to lead, motivate and coach others. Excellent organisational, administrative and planning skills. Able to prioritise and meet deadlines. A team player, self motivated and able to work on own initiative. Extensive experience in a management role in a similar FMCG environment. Flexible and willing to work, on occasions, outside of normal office hours. You will be well presented and capable of selling at Corporate board level when necessary but also adapting to sell to the smaller business level decision makers when you need to.
