My Client is looking for a Quality Manager manage the day to day operational activities of the Quality Control area Multi Brand, working closely with the Head of Purchasing, Customer Service teams, Marketing, Category Management and Sales offering a world class level of service and support relating to Product Quality.Key Responsibilities:Management of day to day operation of the Quality Control Area Resource PlanningDevelop and Update Testing Procedures in line with Global RequirementsDevelop relationships with Category ManagementProactively working with Category Management:Predict where we may have Quality Issues ensure that this is communicated to all areas of the company Identify key styles / product intro's that should be checked and testedAttend Launch Aligned Logistics Weekly MeetingAgree and monitor Budgets for the Quality and Returns AreasMonitor eclaim tool for all Claims and provide a management summary on a monthly basisMaking Key Management decisions in relation to solving Quality Issues:Negotiating with Customer and Sales Agree to all rectification costs that can be claimed back and take responsible for negotiating these. Ensure that the costs incurred are kept to a minimum within agreed budget.Develop relationships / partnerships with Internal / External Customers. Organising regular External Customer and Contractor visits.Ensure that the Head of Purchasing is kept informed of any outstanding claims on a monthly basis and agree resolution datesReview Processor SLA Agreement every 6 months. Communicate any failures to Head of PurchasingDevelop internal SLA's for all Quality and Returns Operations.Understand and communicate processes and procedures of the International QC department for all brands. Build relationships with the key points of contact and the correct escalation routes when required.Satisfy key customer's quality demands( All Accounts). Instant action required when Failure notifiedCreate Sample Plans for Quality Inspection requirementsEnsure Quality procedures are followed and that all Launch / Critical Products are inspected in line with the Sample Plans providedMaintain SHAS performance.Notify all areas of the Company regarding current Quality Issues Manage, Train and develop staff, including systems support.Provide Management Team with KPI and metrics information.Immediate Development of new processes / procedures / area, present to Operations Management Team and Implement.Relevant Experience in Quality Control Management Thorough knowledge of QC procedures and testing regimes People Management / Performance ManagementMinimum level of education achievement - technical degree /good knowledge of product through QC experience.Ability to understand, focus on and resolve day to day issues within the agreed parametersIT literacy (SAP- Desirable / Excel / Intranet)Excellent communicator at all levelsAdvanced presentation skills for customer / team presentationsSupply chain knowledge essentialProcess drivenAppreciation of the importance of good customer service essentialPlease forward your CV to andrea.harris@bluearrow.co.uk
