Description: System Engineer 1. Specific focus on support for 3rd Party hosted equipment across a number of sites. Required · Redhat Linux AS Support - this is primary requirement - Redhat Certification if possible. · Networking skills - TCP/IP Setup and configuration · Familiar with IBM x-series and blade hardware · Good working knowledge of Server O/S builds - required for project work · Troubleshooting and Problem determination. · Admin server support (1st and 2nd line support) across main O/S platforms Optional · Netbackup Enterprise edition Support · Familiar with IBM SAN storage DS4800 and other storage products and IBM Tape libraries 3584 · Windows Server 2003, 2000 support · Basic Unix Scripting - csh, ksh, bsh. · Familiar with System monitoring tools - IBM Director, perfmon, MOM, Big Brother
