Description: THE COMPANYThis leading Coventry based manufacturing group who supply engineered products into the commercial, industrial and consumer marketplaces is looking to recruit a Buyer who comes form an engineering, production or manufacturing type background.THE ROLEWorking within this medium sized purchasing function you will be given the responsibility as a buyer for the purchasing of all production related materials and equipment including injection mouldings, pressings and sheet metal. You will need to work closely with your suppliers to ensure the best prices are being achieved through the negotiation process as well as planning using the master schedule.THE CANDIDATEYou will need to have experience of buying from within a manufacturing/engineering production environment with the ability to influence and negotiate to a reasonable level. You will also need to have good organisational and planning skills to keep ahead within this fast moving environment.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS- Purchasing Experience- Manufacturing/Engineering background- Planning skills- Negotiation skillsThis is an excellent role for a buyer who is looking to move there purchasing career forward within a growing manufacturing operation.
