Description: SENIOR STATISTICIAN – LEICESTER - £27,229 - £32,220Statistician/ Analyst/ Analysis/ Reporting/ Excel/ Insurance/ Finance/ ProgrammingMy client is a hugely successful insurance based organisation with offices in London and the Midlands. They have a current requirement for a Senior Statistician who will head the statistics department.The newly appointed Senior Statistician will manage and lead the statistics team and develop strategy, set objectives and delegate departmental activities. You will get involved in monthly reporting and monthly production and development of key stats. You will undertake project work as required such as building pricing models. You will also collect, process and statistically analyse the insurance data as required.The successful applicant will be some one with advanced excel ability and proven experience working with statistics and analysing data. This should include some programming experience. Ideally you should come from Insurance or Finance background however experience from other industries is also welcomed.
