Description: Responsibilities Supply chain management, including processing sales orders, purchase orders and expediting orders. Procurement schedules. Managing automated re-order system. Kanban replenishment systems. Negotiate lead times with suppliers. Maintaining the integrity item master data. Maintain/improve inventory levels within company targets. Supplier visits. Process customer schedules, Internet based ordering systems, EDI orders, faxed, telephone & email orders and kanban requests. Input into the forecasting process. Negotiate lead times and delivery dates with customers. Customer enquiries and expedites. Orders loaded on day of receipt. Customer visits. Maintain on-time deliveries in line with the company targets for both suppliers and customers. Continuous improvement, identify and implement appropriate improvements to the systems and infrastructure. Timely management reporting. Skills & Attributes Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Professionalism & Integrity Customer focused Initiative Motivation Accuracy Highly numerate Negotiation Knowledge/Experience Essential Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook). Computerised stock control / despatch systems. (Ideally MAPIC’s) Knowledge/Experience Desirable Operation of Kanban style replenishment systems. Dealing with telephone enquiries. Automotive experience.
