Description: Well known educational institute require a Development Officer for approx 1 year. The successful candidate will have well developed IT, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills in addition to an excellent and adaptable writing style and the ambition and confidence to work with leading academics and senior business representatives. Experience in or the ability to quickly develop understanding of the HE or voluntary sector and of the Raisers Edge Database. Fundraising experience in the public sector, reearching individuals and organisations from a wide variety of sources. Managing and organising fundraising events. Job Summary: To assist the Director and its Management Team in the growth of the Institutes trust income and play an active role in managing a portfolio of relationships, coordinating mailings, overseeing the operation of the Institutes Friends Scheme and researching Prospects.
