Description: Legal Expert Main responsibilitiesPreparing establishment of fair competition. Reviewing market competitiveness and development of networks and services.Preparing proposals for promoting the competitiveness of market and development of information trade. Preparing statement on telecommunication market competitiveness. Examining proposals prepared by the Junior Professional for promoting the competitiveness of market and development of information trade.Monitoring market and technology development and liaising with users and industry to assess competitive development and benefits being delivered to consumers. Identifying and recommending actions on emerging threats on competition.Conducting investigation of complaints and devise appropriate remedies and making recommendations for necessary actions.Assisting in interconnection negotiations (a standard set of default interconnection terms and conditions which are non-binding but can be used as a basis for negotiation for operators). Reviewing interconnection agreements. Monitoring compliance with standards and specifications.Controlling the interconnection agreements between the operators.Defining universal service targets and quality service parameters.Reviewing customer complaints analysis and new price proposals analysis. Performing international benchmarking on pricing.Providing closer integration of price comparison and quality of service information.Requirements: The Selected candidate will have in-depth knowledge about the telecommunication industry, both regionally and internationally. This position requires extensive knowledge in all the above-mentioned areas and the applicant must have substantial relevant experience in a regulatory environment with Batchelors/Masters in Law or equivalent. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic & English languages.
