Description: Our client, the world’s biggest direct selling beauty company is looking for exceptional Area Sales Managers to lead, motivate and develop teams of sales representatives within the North East area - several positions are currently available across Stockton, Washington, Gateshead, Durham, Northumberland, Newcastle, Spennymore and Sedgefield.Although their product range may be all about beauty and femininity, you will require a strong commercial focus, the proven ability to sell and experience of managing a team to achieve overall success. Always pushing yourself and those around you to meet corporate targets, you’ll spot & develop rising stars, provide training, lead by example and pass on the benefit of your experience. Already a successful sales person with a track record of team development and leadership, you will need to develop a fantastic grasp for this business, your people and the customer. You’ll have contagious levels of motivation & initiative, the drive to keep developing your sales career and the outstanding communication skills needed to engage people at all levels. You’ll need to be able to see the larger picture and determine strategic direction too, setting targets, co-coordinating sales & promotions and producing regular reports to ensure you continue over achieving. An advocate for positive change and incredibly resilient, you must have a general working knowledge of common software, and a full UK driving licence is essential. Whilst you will not be selling the product, a key aspect of this role is the recruitment of, or “selling” of the business opportunity to sales representatives, to ensure that your area is fully staffed and achieving all targets. Applicants must be able to take a confident and proactive approach to cold calling and direct selling both in person and over the telephone, therefore a warm, bubbly, resilient and positive personality is absolutely essential.
