Description: My client a large Lesiure company based in South East London is looking for someone to manage the Web application environment, including installation, configuration and performance monitoring. Provide problem resolution for the application environment, including peripherals, database interfaces and communication equipment. Understands basic concepts of all phases of Web application and supports performance testing, analysis, tuning, deployments, upgrades, security, backup/restore procedures, and enterprise disaster recovery concepts. Competent to perform some UNIX system maintenance. Providing high-level technical support for end-users and internal staff. Supports and assists in other areas of systems administration and networking. Requires guidance on more complex processes. You must have at least 7 or more years in a related computer field with at least 2 years in Web application platforms, in an enterprise multi-platform environment, including Web Servers. Network trouble-shooting techniques, systems integration experience and extensive hardware knowledge required. Also experience using Websphere would be an advantage.
